Jennifer Lopez at the MET Ball 2010 Jennifer Lopez goes strapless in a Zuhair Murad gown at the MET Ball held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. I’m not a huge fan of JLO but this dress hands down is a beauty. I mean just look at that beading. Wow! Breathtaking! She might not be able to sing but she sure looks good! And that merits a SHAZZAM in my book! SHAZZAM!

Jennifer Lopez - 82nd Annual Academy Awards “She put the emphASSis on the wrong syLLAble. Am just sayin’…” Yes, I totally get it. JLO loves to show off all her assets, but this here planetary orbital mess looks like some elaborately designed piece of bubble wrap. I mean, doncha just wanna reach out and pop them bubbles. I dunno what she had in mind when she decided to wear this Armani Privé gown. And that bunched material on her side, let’s call it her hip adornment, just weighs her down. If we can just take that piece off and pop some bubbles, we’d be set!

Failure to stay in tune. Check!
Failure to stay on beat. Check!
Failure to keep the rhythm. Check!
I mean what would possess you to sing this song? What happened here?! Was this an attempt at singing a ballad? I dunno… I’m lost for words here.
Fire your vocal coach honey and get back to dancing or somethin’ cuz the world did not need to hear that regurgitation you called “performance.” Mmmmkay!
Besides, there’s no need for that when you got all them bucks grrrrl. Get it together! Shoulda just sang “Waiting For Tonight” and worn your Louboutins. Am just sayin’…

Telemundo Winter Olympics - SNL Skit with host Jennifer Lopez
On the other hand, this I found to be the weakest link. I mean it had all the potential to be hilarious. But it just wasn’t funny. Well I did laugh a little when they were reacting to the ski jump. (Hahaha! Who doesn’t lose it when they jump off that thing?!) It’s just I just found the writing to be, I dunno, a bit bland. It’s JLO for crying out loud. The possibilities for comedy are endless. And you come out with this. Ugh!
Fanning the fury, I’ve read that some Latino peeps found this skit to be offensive citing it as “a portrayal of the Latin community as ignorant fools who do not know what snow is.” Hahaha! (Oops sorry!) Even better: “Latin people don’t all have a funny accent and we all don’t yell when we speak!” Well, my neighbors certainly do. They yell ALL the time. In fact, they’re yelling right now. Lol! Have I told you I’m Latin?! Whatevers!
The fact of the matter is, offensive or not, it’s just wasn’t that funny. Now I’ll tell you what WAS funny. JLO trying to sing. That was freaking hilarious. Did you see that?! (Cringing!)

Besos y Lagrimas - SNL Skit with host Jennifer Lopez
Ok, so I can’t begin to tell you how much this resembles watching a Spanish telenovela. Lord! They just drag on, the acting is so over-the top and the drama flows over in handfuls. I laughed so much watching this. Having watched countless of them as a kid, I just ate it up like some fried ass cuchifritos. Mmmkay!
