Innocent Voices (2004) - Trailer

“A young boy, in an effort to have a normal childhood in 1980’s El Salvador, is caught up in a dramatic fight for his life as he desperately tries to avoid the war which is raging all around him.”

This is the story of my childhood in El Salvador along with most of the children who grew up during the Civil War years. My Mother and I were asked to attend the premiere and were present during the Q&A with the director. It is a very touching film. I highly recommend it as it tells the story through the eyes of children whose very lives were forever changed by the atrocities of war.
